Yep, it is funny! But I won't read the sequel because I think it's a lazy and cheap trick to cut a book off like that just to release a sequel. I'm not caving to that! :-D

Still worth the read though...and Mama Kitty, you should read it for the "experimenting"!

Great review. I really enjoyed this one but had a few of the same issues with the book that you both did. The ending was way too abrupt although I hear there's a sequel in the works.
I also didn't understand how you couldn't talk sports AT ALL EVER. lol That seemed extreme. Most people discuss or watch a game once in awhile - even non sports enthusiasts like myself.
I would still recommend it though. there are some great laughs.

I hate to admit it, but I'm a TOTAL cover-judger. So if I hadn't read this review, I might never have given this book a second thought. I wouldn't have picked it up to read the blurb. It looks too much like a "man book" and... *looks down at my chest* yup, I'm not a man. I like rom-coms. A lot, actually. And I'm in the mood to read one. Although I prefer mine with a good HEA, so here's hoping that there's a sequel in the works to this one, because it sounds like the author might've missed the mark when she abruptly finished this one without really finishing their story. I'll probably give it a shot just to see what you two are talking about with the experimenting - what can I say? I'm curious. :)
