Your rating of the book that is so different than mine :D I absolutely loved this book (huge 5 stars). The characters, the setting, the story, the romance. I couldn't put it down. One of things I loved was how the author took the issues that Simon & Declan had in the first book, and what they learnt from them, and let the characters apply those lessons in the sequel. You could see how the characters had grown...and Simon's snark was still there and it was brilliant.
