A hilarious and refreshingly honest foray into modern dating, Age, Sex, Location is Bridget Jones's Diary for HBO's Girls generation.

An American living in London, Lauren is intelligent, beautiful and loves to party. So why can't she convince a man she isn't after something more serious than scrambled eggs and goodbye in the morning?

Determined to snare some regular male affection, she embarks on a project: each month she will follow the rules of a different dating guide - from refusing to pay the bill to chatting up every man in her path - and will switch seamlessly to the next book at the end of each month.

Why I Read This Book: I got a copy for review and liked the blurb.

In a Nutshell: Girl moves to London to restart her life and embarks on a vigorous dating guide experiment.

What I Liked: I loved the raw reality of Lauren's life. I also loved the fact that she lives in London which is one of my favorite places on Earth. I wasn't sold when I started reading but Lauren's vitality and the connection I created with her kept me reading all day. I loved the variance of the books Lauren chose and the fact that it was based on a true story.

What I Didn't Like: I was so cheated at the end of the book. I'm trying not to spoil but early in the book we get introduced to this amazing character and then when it's time for that character to really have a moment we get nothing. I was so angry by the very abrupt ending to the take I tossed the book across the bed. I spent all day reading this book for two seconds of the character I'd been waiting for forever.

In My Opinion: Although the ending was what I expected, if not executed in the way I expected, this is still a good read. Even more so if you are able to read about the books she reads as we conducts her experiment.
