Thursday Thirteen is a weekly meme with a simple theme: each Thursday you blog a list of 13 things. What kind of things? Any kind! Just come up with a list theme and run with it.

 

Brianna’s List:

  1. Cooler weather is coming!
  2. Decorations. I love scarecrows and pumpkin decorations.
  3. The colors. I love seeing the different colored leaves.
  4. Daylight savings ends. Woo Hoo! It’s like getting an extra hour of sleep.
  5. Going to the pumpkin patch. The kids love going on the train ride and checking out all the different kinds of pumpkins.
  6. Carving pumpkins.
  7. Picking out Halloween costumes with the kids.
  8. Taking the kids trick-or-treating.
  9. Thanksgiving. Food!
  10. The photo opportunities.
  11. The holidays are right around the corner. I love this time of the year. (I just hate the bills that follow.)
  12. Fall means Winter is right around the corner. I am hoping for some good snowfall this year.
  13. Sweaters and blankets. I love snuggling up in a cozy sweater and wrapping myself up in a warm blanket.

 

J9’s List:

  1. Cold morning runs.
  2. Sunny but crisp afternoon runs.
  3. Going to the Amish market for all the season's harvest.
  4. Squash, root veggies, and grains.
  5. Snack size candy being on-sale.
  6. Wearing long sleeves.
  7. Not having a heat or air-conditioning bill.
  8. NBA Basketball starts (Go Knicks!).
  9. NFL Football season.
  10. Using the oven to cook again after three months of avoidance.
  11. Drinking wine by the backyard fire.
  12. All the fall TV shows start again (The Simpson's are still going strong!).
  13. The smell.

  3. Pumpkin flavored food. I love pumpkin and this is the only time of the year to get it.
