Kiss of Venom by Jennifer Estep Has a Cover!

Earlier this week author Jennifer Estep revealed the cover for Kiss of Venom. This novella (book #8.5 in the Elemental Assassin series) will be told from Owen’s POV and I can’t wait to read it. I pre-ordered it 2 months ago, when I first learned about it. I am now anxiously awaiting Kiss of Venom’s July 22nd release date so I can gobble it up. Ready for the cover?

The New York Times bestselling Elemental Assassin series continues with a new e-novella—from the hero’s point of view!

Owen Grayson is bound and determined to get Gin back...if her enemies don’t get her first. When you have a history of dating an assassin, a night out on the town can turn deadly—fast. Owen Grayson is still wracked with guilt over the end of his love affair with Gin Blanco, and there aren’t enough gin and tonics in all of Ashland to ease his heartache. But when Gin happens to show up at the same nightclub, he isn’t the only one hoping to get her alone. Some shadowy figures will do anything to take down the Spider, Gin’s assassin alter ego, and Owen will do anything to protect her. This could be the way to win her back, or at least give her a night off from fighting for her life—if Owen can survive...

  1. OWEN!! Love that man. I could read a full length book from his POV no problem.

  2. Ooh, pretty. I think that actually is a good representation of Owen. You get that sense of him being hard and strong and able to work with metals. I'm behind, having not yet read Widow's Web because I heard Owen and Gin have some bumpy times ahead, but I really should catch up so I can read this novella.

  4. The look on that guy's face is just...weird. And no, he doesn't fit my Owen, at all. However, how exciting to have a novella from his POV!!

  5. I prefer faces on covers to be cut off, like at the nose. I know that sounds weird but the eyes make the face and can alter a person's appearance greatly.

  6. Oh exciting! I fell off the read-along train after By A Thread, but I've got Widow's Web on my ipad for vacation. Some long flights ahead of me so hopefully I'll read it.

Hmm.. not exactly how I pictured Owen, but it's okay. I picture him more stunning.. darker, slightly longer messier hair and kinda rugged looking. This guy's too clean cut! ha! I'm with you Brianna--cut it at the nose. Leave the rest to my imagination, thank you very much!
