In My Pocket is a weekly feature where J9 and I share some of the links we’ve collected in Pocket. (To find out what Pocket is and how to use it, check out my tutorial on Pocket.) Some links will be book-related while some may be off-topic. Who knows what you’ll find in our Pocket ;) And if you use Pocket, we invite you to share what’s in your Pocket as well.
In Brianna's Pocket:
- The Crossfire series by Sylvia Day has been optioned for a TV show, confirmed by the author herself. And apparently there’ll be a 4th book. Interesting. I’d watch.
- Heroes and Heartbreakers has a list of romance books with heroes and heroines that have piercings. And we aren’t talking about ears, people.
- I’m not sure why but Glamour Shots were all abuzz on Twitter the other day. Here are some Glamour Shots goodies. Oh my, the 90s were memorable, weren’t they?
- While checking out the last link about Glamour Shots, there was a link to another article in the side bar that caught my eye – 29 Ways Your Life Could Be a Million Times Worse. #7. *dies* #17 was a close 2nd. Oh! And there’s some haPENIS for Mandi in there, with #21. OMG and #27 – that’s a good prank right there! #29 is a great one too. (Can you tell I was going thru the post while typing this out? No? Good.)
- The Internet: Then (2002) and Now (2012). Can you believe it took 12 ½ minutes to download ONE song ten years ago? And remember the AOL dial up boing-a-boing melody? Good times.
- 50 Shades of Grey – The Musical. This video was uploaded almost a year ago; how is it I am only just seeing it for the first time now?
Oh those Glamour Shots were great!! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit bummed I never had them done. LOL
DeleteI loved those Glamour Shot links. There was one woman in there with big ol' eyes. She didn't look like she was quite sure how she got there. :)
ReplyDeleteThat Internet graphic is timely. I was just talking to a coworker the other day about how the Internet that kids are using and growing up with today is nothing compared to what we had. In fact, I can't really remember the Internet being used very much until 1998 (I was in 8th grade). I graduated in 2003 and we still weren't using the Internet that much. That graphic reminded me of what it was like just 10 years ago. Thank you so much for sharing!
