My favorite romance sub-genre is romantic suspense. I can’t get enough of the genre and I’m always looking for new authors and books to read. And here’s your chance to join me.
Reading Challenge Details:
- Runs January 1, 2013 – December 31, 2013 (books read prior to 1/1/2013 do not count towards the challenge). You can join at anytime. Sign up on The Book Vixen’s blog.
- The goal is to read 13 romantic suspense novels in ‘13.
- Books can be any format (bound, ebook, audio).
- Novellas that are at least 100 pages in length, as well as full-length novels, will count for this reading challenge.
- Re-reads and crossovers from other reading challenges are allowed.
- Grab the reading challenge button and post this reading challenge on your blog to track your progress. Please include a link back to this sign-up post so others can join the reading challenge too. You do not have to be a book blogger to participate; you can track your progress on Goodreads or LibraryThing.
Thanks for hosting this challenge, Brianna! I love the Romantic Suspense genre, too, and I haven't read much of in last year or this year.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks, too, for always including audio format in your challenges. I get really irked at the number of challenges where audio is excluded, like it's not considered really reading! Pfffft!
I love romantic suspense so much, I just can't seem to get enough of it. LOL
DeleteMy favorite as well but are the novels limited to books listed as Romantic Suspense genre or can books that are filled with suspense with a thread of romance throughout be included? Examples would be SHADOWFEVER by Karen Marie Moning, KUSHIEL'S DART by Jacqueline Carey and the IMMORTALS series including: EVERMORE, BLUE MOON, SHADOWLAND, DARK FLAME, NIGHT STAR, and EVERLASTING by Alyson Noël.
ReplyDeleteOnly books listed as Romantic Suspense qualify for this challenge.
DeleteThank you for the invite to this challenge! This will be my first time participating. I decided to go all out, or all in, and I'll be taking part in a few :) 2013 is going to be a fantastic reading year!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone here read the Tadgh Faolan gay werewolf series 'Of Werewolves and Men'? I loved all seven books and the stand alone book The Highlander and the Werewolf. They are on Amazon and several other booksites in ebook, paperback and some on audio.

ReplyDeleteUmmm, what does it say about me that I'm already done with this challenge?
ReplyDeleteThat you're awesome! And you can definitely read more - there's no limit in the challenge :)
