BBAW 2012 Daily Topic: What Book Blogging Means to Me

Book Blogger Appreciation Week 2012

What does book blogging mean to you?

Book Blogging is an outlet for me. My blog is my own special little place on the internet where I get to share my thoughts on the books I have read. Some I have enjoyed and loved; others were just not the book for me.

Like many book bloggers, my offline friends don’t read as much as I do or they don’t read the same kind of books that I do. I still try though - try to get them to read by pushing suggesting books to them. It works for a while then it fizzles out. But the fun part is getting my friends to read a book and having them end up loving it. Those are some fun conversations.

This is a hobby for me, not a job. So I will continue to do this as long as it is fun for me. And so far, I’m still loving it. Sure, I have days where I get a little overwhelmed but things work themselves out and I get back on track.

  5. I love it when someone loves a book I recommended she read. It also makes gift giving so much easier! LOL

  6. Ame - I really do look forward to sharing my bookish thoughts with others, and as long as it's more fun than not - then I'll continue to do so.

  7. Think we've all felt overwhelmed at one time or the other, but our love of books usually brings us back! Hope it stays fun for you for many, many years to come!
