The Book Vixen is THREE!

The Book Vixen's 3rd Blogoversary!!Image Source: stock.xchng

Well, what do you know – It’s my blogoversary!! It’s been three years since I started book blogging and I am still having a blast! I love chatting with fellow book lovers and discovering new books and authors to read. And I love spreading the word about books I love.

I have to give a huge Thank You virtual hug to my associate reviewer J9, who not only writes great reviews but is someone I consider a great friend. We send a lot of emails back and forth and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know her. If only we lived closer so we could meet up in person and I could give her a great big hug :)

I’d also like to thank Sophia, who is always there for me, even when I ask the most bizarre questions. She’s someone I look up to and I’m happy to have known her for 8 years now.

I would also like to thank Brie from Romance Around the Corner and Nicole from The Book Pushers, both of whom I consider my personal book pimps. Since we have similar tastes in reading, these are my go-to gals for recommendations.

And finally, thank YOU for visiting and reading The Book Vixen! To show my appreciation, I’m giving away a book, winner’s choice (up to $10USD).

  24. Congrats on your blogversary! I've been following this blog for at least two years now and it's one of my favorites.

The best book I read this year was a reread of an old Loveswept called Lightning That Lingers, by Sharon and Tom Curtis. I read it in the 1980's when it was first published and then reread it this year after it was reissued. Definitely one of the best category romances I've ever read. For something a bit more recent though, I'd have to say my favorite read of the year was About Last Night, by Ruthie Knox.
