Bloggiesta is hosted by Suey at It’s All About Books & Danielle at There’s a Book.
Bloggiesta is a 3-day blog-a-thon. A weekend where you try to do as much on your blog to-do list as you can. Here’s my list:
- Get caught up on reviews.
- Write up some reviews for a rainy day.
- Clean up tags.
- Catch up on emails, review requests, and contact form.
- Create a cheat sheet for my blog.
- Check/fix dead links.
- Put reviews up on Pinterest.
- Catch up on cross posting reviews on Goodreads, LibraryThing, and Amazon.
- Think about adding a Blog Roll.
- Get the ball rolling for upcoming Bday Extravaganza.
- Get Month in Review post done for March.
- Think about blog feature that’s been on the brain. Come up with an ingenious name.
- Remove all past Winner posts.
- Catch up on responding to TBV comments.
That’s all I can think of for right now. I’ll be adding to the list as I remember/think of more stuff I need to get done. I’m only going to be able to work on my list on Sunday so I hope to accomplish as much as I can.
If you’re looking for a Bloggiesta mini-challenge, I’ve got one on backing up your blog. You can also check out the list of new mini-challenges as well as mini-challenges from the past.
Good luck to all who are participating!
I didn't participate this time but I'm following everyone's posts and getting great ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love the info posts part of Bloggiesta. I alway learn something new.
DeleteExcellent list! I'll be cheering for you as I work on my own bloggiesta projects. :D
ReplyDeleteYes! I feel like I'm so behind on reviews and really need to crosspost. I really like the colours of your layout, it reminds me of spring. Fantastic list!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I like the colors as well (though I am biased LOL).
DeleteGreat list! I'm going to try with all my might to at least back up my two main blogs tomorrow. I hope I don't run out of time. I'm travelling Sunday so no Bloggiesta for me that day. =O( Unless I can pick up some wifi on the road, but I don't relish the thought of being kicked off every minute. LOL! Good luck with your tasks!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to get everything done. I wasn't able to do much on Friday or Saturday so today's my last chance. I have a feeling I'll be staying up late tonight :)
DeleteI had no idea a blog could disappear. I took your advice and backed it up on my hard drive. I think I'll make a note to do it often!
ReplyDeleteScary thought, isn't it? Yay on backing up! Just remember to do it often.
DeleteI really should back up my blog, I've never done that and it's scary to wake up one day with your entire blog gone. Looks like I'll participating in your mini-challenge. Good luck with your Bloggiesta goals, I hope you accomplish everything. :)
ReplyDeleteAt bare minimum, you should at least download the .xml file to your hard drive. Save the extra step for another day. It'll be a huge sigh of relieve just knowing you have it on your hard drive.
DeleteVery nice line! Good luck with it ^^
ReplyDeleteHow's it going today? I hope you are getting tons done! Thanks for the last minute mini challenge. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteToday is actually the only day I've been able to get stuff done. I know I won't be able to get everything done but at least I'll be able to get a few things crossed of my blog to do list :)
DeleteMy personal blog isn't a book blog, but all the tweets inspired me to do a bunch of work on my blog today!
ReplyDeleteBloggiesta is addicting like that :)
