MOVIE TRAILER: The Lucky One

Wow, Zac Efron grew up to be a hottie! Yeah, he was cute during his High School Musical days but he was just a kid (read: jailbait). And those eyes….

You all know I’m not only going to see this movie, I’m going to get the DVD as soon as it comes out. What about you - are you going to watch this book-to-movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel The Lucky One?

The story doesn't draw me like other Sparks' stories, but I will definitely see it. All of his movies are worth seeing. Plus, hot damn, Zac is ridiculously delicious and I don't give 2 squats how young he is.

One of these days I will read a Nick Sparks book...

Why yes, yes he DID grow up nicely. That uniform doesn't hurt, either :)

Of course I will be seeing this movie (and, if my history with Nicholas Sparks movies is any indication, bawling my eyes out).

I've had a big crush on Zac Efron for a while now, so I want to see anything he's in no matter what (Charlie St Cloud is one of my absolute most favorite movies - even though it makes me cry like a baby every time I watch it) so I'll undoubtedly watch this one as well... but I stayed away from reading this Sparks novel because of the military theme. Not because I thought he'd get it wrong, but because I was afraid he'd get it right.

My twin brother was in Iraq for 17 months and the things he saw still haunt him to this day. He's only just now able to talk to me about them, and he left there a few years ago. Even *I* am haunted by what he saw and I wasn't even there. Several of my friends were stationed there as well. Some didn't make it back whole. Some didn't make it back at all. Just watching the preview and seeing Zac near where the bomb went off made me cry. So parts of it will be extraordinarily difficult for me to watch. I'm praying that the majority of the movie will NOT be him in any kind of war situation or reliving it.

Wow, I didn't mean to go crazy. I just meant to say that I love Zac Efron and I'll be going to see the movie and that the trailer looks really good. LOL
