Oh yes, book blogging has definitely changed the way I read. The book blogging community has broadened my reading tastes tremendously. I’ve read books that I may not have otherwise come across if it had not been for a fellow book blogger’s review or post.
Then have been times that I’ve decided to give a book a shot solely based on buzz generated by book bloggers – a book that I wouldn’t have normally picked up for one reason or another. This happened to me fairly recently with Dragon Bound. I wouldn’t have read this book for a few reasons (you can read more about my reasons in my review tomorrow) but I’m glad I did because otherwise I would have missed out on such a great book.
I have definitely picked up and read books that I would not have done so otherwise since I started book blogging.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your review of Dragon Bound tomorrow! :)

I read a lot of books that I never would have read without book bloggers, too.
ReplyDeleteI think we all go through that lately. Old follower. Believe it or not, some of the books that I loved came from other people's recommendations.
ReplyDeleteBook blogging has definitely changed the way I read, as I've stepped outside my usual genres several times thanks to my fellow bloggers. Found so many wonderful new authors that I never would have discovered otherwise, and my TBR pile has exploded, all thanks to blogging!
