Review-a-Thon: The Starting Line

I am officially starting the Review-a-Thon right now. When I had decided to participate, I had 8 books to review. Since then, I’ve read 3 books which brings my total number of books to review to 11. Of those 11 books to review, 7 of them will be regular reviews that will go up on my blog and 4 of them (the Mercedes Thompson series) will be mini reviews that I’ll post on Goodreads. And all but 2 or 3 of the reviews I need to complete have already been started. So I just need to complete them, polish them up and get them scheduled. Hopefully I’ll be able to complete all 11 reviews by Saturday the 13th.

I am going to try to stay away from the internet distractions (i.e. Google Reader, my email inbox, Twitter, etc.) as much as possible. However, I will be posting updates on Twitter using the #readathon hash tag as well as cheering on other participates. I will also try to participate in some of the challenges set up by the fabulous ladies at The Book Monsters.

I’m a few days late in starting the Review-a-Thon but better late than never, right?

Here’s my list of books to review:

  1. Nightfall by Ellen Connor
  2. The Chase by Erin McCarthy
  3. Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare
  4. Something About You by Julie James
  5. Turn It Up by Inez Kelley
  6. Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
  7. Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs
  8. Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs
  9. Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs
  10. Glow by Stacey Wallace Benefiel
  11. Ideal Man by Julie Garwood

(I’ll be updating this post as I complete these reviews.)

If you’re participating in the Review-a-Thon, leave me a link to your blog post so I can cheer you on.

  1. Yay!! I have um... 24? Eep. I've only done 3 so far, but Sunday and Monday were my busy days. Today I was cleaning so hopefully the rest of the week will be review-a-hauling. :)Thanks for joining us!
