You might think it’s a little weird that I got Beef Stroganoff mix in the mail but I needed some, desperately! Out of the 4 grocery stores by my house, none of them carry the stuff anymore. I don’t know if there’s a shortage or if they’re doing away with the mix entirely. But one of my pregnancy cravings is Beef Stroganoff and I need to have it! My mom came to my rescue and shipped me 10 packets. Isn’t she the bestest? My mom also sent me some of her old Entertainment Weekly magazines (she knows I love reading about Twilight, Harry Potter and True Blood).

    Great IMM!! So nice that your mom sent you your Beef Stroganoff mixes!

    Still sad about Borders. Have gone a few times since their sales but it's still so hard to shop there without breaking down in tears! I've been shopping there since I was a kid and loving reading!

    Haha! I was having a fit this past winter because my store didn't carry instant quaker peaches n cream oatmeal. My mom also gives me her Entertainment mags when she has read them. Mom to the rescue!!

    Haha, love the Beef Strog. We have some packeted mix stuff that Dan turns into a pretty yummy dish. It's kind of our "when there's nothing else to eat and we're low on cash" go to dish but it's still damn good!
