Month in Review: June 2011

June has been a crazy month! I celebrated my birthday with a ton of giveaways (aka the Birthday Extravaganza). They all end on July 7th so hurry up and enter. (Links below)

School’s out and the summer has officially begun. We started off our summer with Nana coming to visit. I am completely exhausted!

True Blood is back! And I just watched episode 2 last night – I think the show is going exactly where I’ve been wanting it to go in regards to Eric’s character. I won’t give anything away but I will say that it’s something that happened in the books that I wanted to see on the screen.

Not much new going on in the baby front. I’m 27 weeks pregnant today; about 91 days (hopefully less) to go. She’s moving around a lot. Due to some complications, I’m not allowed to have any chocolate or sweets but I do have a nice reserve stash accumulating in my freezer. I’m definitely bringing some of it with me to the hospital to eat as soon as this baby comes out!

Wow! A great reading month for you! That totally sucks that you can't have sweets! I think I would just die! I need to add my challenges to my report! Maybe I'll do it next month HAHA!

Glad to hear all is well on the baby front (other than the sweets of course)!

A Simple Love of Reading - it totally sucks not being able to have my daily chocolate fix. I cannot wait until D-Day (delivery day)!!

I'm doing bad with my challenges. I haven't even read a single book for 2 of my own challenges!!

awww I can relate on the sweet front when I was pregnant, my hubby at the time he said I could have a treat if all was good at the doctor :).

As for True Blood I was excited to see the direction it was going on in episode too, IT is going to be strange to see Eric like this though I loved it in the book - I think Alexander will do a fab job pulling it off too.

I wish I felt the same as you about true blood. I'm still embarrassed about the opening of ep one. What was that?

*gasp* no chocolate! I hope the rest of the time flies by for you. Get lots of rest.

And thanks for all the giveaways!

BLHmistress - I am so excited the direction TB is going with Eric's character. That was one of my favorite parts in the books :)

Missie - Yeah, the beginning of episode 1 was weird.
