Month in Review: April 2011

April was an okay reading month. I read 7 books. I did a lot of catching up on writing reviews. I am almost completely caught up and that makes me happy. I’m also getting caught up on my reading list which means I’ll soon be able to just randomly pick books to read. I won’t even know where to start!

I’m pissed at the people who decide when to air Grey’s Anatomy. Come on people! How long are you going to make us wait for new episodes? It’s like the show goes on a hiatus every other week. If they don’t pick up the pace soon, I’m going to drop the show like it’s hot. In the interim, I have found me a new show to watch: Body of Proof. I love case solving and forensics so this is my kind of show. And I like Dana Delany’s character. I’ve ditched American Idol (WTF were the voters thinking when Pia got the boot?!!). They need to get Simon back. The judges are way too nice; they need to grow some balls.

We have THE ultrasound appointment coming up in a few days. Hopefully we’ll be able to find out the gender cause I’m dying to know! I want to be able to get blue things or pink things. I don’t want to have to do yellows and greens (again). And I want to be able to settle on a name. I don’t having any feelings as to if the baby is a girl or a boy. With my daughter, my intuition said ‘boy’. With my son, it was ‘girl’. See how well my intuition works? The Chinese Gender Predictor says ‘boy’, Mr. TBV says ‘boy’ and MIL says ‘boy’ (because my face “isn’t round or fat” – her exact words, gotta love my MIL Smile). Leave a comment if you want to take a guess.

don't stress about reading , and stopped watching Greys during writers strike. With idol-- only watched 1 & 2nd second season.

Good luck baby showing its parts.

I like these month in review posts! And kudos to you for keeping up with your challenges! I have been a bad, bad challenge-ee and have not kept track at all!

Oh, and people loved to tell me I was having a girl because I was "carrying that baby in my hips" and my face was round. :)

How do you keep up with everything on your blog? Somedays I have no idea where I am or what I am doing. LOL

Did you get to find out if it's a boy or girl? I think knowing is great because you can plan so much. Congrats again!

I honestly thought of not participating in the rest of the year for the challenges I've signed up for all over the blogoverse, because I don't feel like I can catch up. Maybe I'm just being lazy. LOL

KElli - It's hard keeping up with all these challenges!! I will definitely cut back on the number of challenges I sign up for next year.

I haven't been 'seen' by people yet so I haven't had the gender guessing comments. I'm curious to see what people think though.

Chrystal - I usually start my Month in Review post early on and add to it as the month goes by. Then I search my archives by month and fill in anything I've missed.

And we did find out the gender.....it's a GIRL! I'll put the news in my next Month in Review post.
