If you’re participating in any of my Reading Challenges, you need to read this

First, I would like to thank you for participating!

Now here’s the dealio. I learned a very important lesson about bandwidth today. Long story short, I exceeded the allowed bandwidth and had to move all my pictures (including my blog button and the buttons for my reading challenges) to another host.

That part is done.

Now I'm trying to let everyone who signed up for my challenges know so they can update their buttons. I started emailing people but there are just way too many participants so I decided to do this post.

Why the need to update the button(s) on your blog? Because the old buttons will be removed from Photobucket shortly and thus they will no longer show up.

Here are the links to each of the reading challenges that I am hosting for 2011. You will find the same buttons with the *new* coding on these posts.

YA of the 80s and 90s Reading Challenge

Nicholas Sparks Reading Challenge

Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge

Men in Uniform Reading Challenge

And if you happen to have my blog button on your blog, I had to change that one too. Feel free to grab the *new* code from the left sidebar since the current button will also be removed from Photobucket.

I apologize for any inconvenience. Lesson learned on my part, believe you me. Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to find an email from Photobucket alerting me of all this O_O

  1. Bandwidth...in my house that is a four letter word! We are quite good at exceeding our bandwidth. With our old internet company, they would just shut us down if we exceeded it. This would result in us losing our connection for a bout a week. Our new one went another step beyond that. They decided to charge us an additional $200 for exceeding our bandwidth. It would have been more but they have a "cap" on it. So needless to say, I feel your pain! Good luck with the war on bandwidth!

  2. Mindy - While I like to think I'm somewhat geeky, I'm really just a novice. So I'm learning as I'm going along.
