This week’s theme is:
Favorite Childhood TV Series.

Do you know how hard it was to only pick 5?!! There were so many great shows on when I was growing up. Here are the ones that really stood out to me.

1. Out of This World – I thought it was so cool that Evie could “freeze” time with her fingers. I wanted so badly to be able to do this. No matter how many times I would try, it didn’t work for me O_o

2. Punky Brewster – I learned how to tell when spaghetti is ready thanks to this show! You throw it against the wall and if it sticks, then it’s ready ;)

3. CHiPs – It was all about Officer Poncherello.

4. Family Ties – Hello! Michael J. Fox was the star of this show!

5. Facts of Life – I wanted to go to school with these girls. They were always getting into trouble and having fun.

Honorable mentions: Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Small Wonder, Charles in Charge and Full House.

What were your favorite childhood TV shows?

I just stopped by Larissa's blog. This is a really good question. Geez, how could I forget about Out Of This World!?! I too wanted to freeze time and all my attempts failed. I had to break my list down into 3 groups. Couldn't do just 5. I really tried.

    Cartoons:
    1. Dark Wing Duck
    2. Animaniacs (it's all about Pinky and The Brain)
    3. Chip & Dale
    4. Gargoyles
    5. Ducktales

    Non-cartoon shows:
    1. All That
    2. Power Rangers (the original is the best!)
    3. Kenan & Kel
    4. Double Dare
    5. Are You Afraid of the Dark?
(Nickelodeon use to be so awesome)

Shows my parents made me watch that I ended up loving:
    1. M*A*S*H
    2. I Love Lucy
    3. Taxi
    4. The Golden Girls
    5. I Dream Of Jeannie

  5. I never liked cartoons but I was addicted to Full House, and that show with Steve Urkel (can't remember the title) and oddly enough, Dragnet.
