Book Club Sign Up: The Last Song

If you’re a fan of Nicholas Sparks (or if haven’t read any of his books yet but would like to try him out) then we have the book club for you! The Book Junkie's Bookshelf and myself are co-hosting a book club for The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks.

TLS

Seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alientated from her parents, especially her father...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story of love on many levels--first love, love between parents and children -- that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts...and heal them.

The book club will read the book from August 1st - 31st. We will divide up the book into sections and have weekly discussion questions. The answer to these questions will be posted by you on your blog. We'll have a Mr. Linky up so you can link to your post from our blogs.

Are you in? If yes, then grab the button and fill out the form (link below).

Wow!!=) What a great idea. I've read most of his novels and love his work. I enjoyed The Last Song and would love to participate in q&a/ discussions.

Count me in!

I have a work trip in August planned but I will participate in as many discussions that I can.
