In My Mailbox (4)

The In My Mailbox meme is hosted by The Story Siren, which was inspired by Alea

**In the Mail**

These are the books that I've gotten in the mail in the past 2-3 weeks or so:

Over the Edge by Jeanie London
[ Thanks Tena! ]

Wild and Wicked by Joanne Rock
[ Thanks Tena! ]

It All Changed in an Instant: More Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous & Obscure

[ Received from Goodreads swap. ]

This One is Mine by Maria Semple
[ For review. Thanks Gigi! ]

The First Assistant by Clare Naylor and Mimi Hare
[ Received from Goodreads swap. ]

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
[ Thanks Darlene and Stormi!! I actually got 2 copies of this book: one hardcover and the other with the movie cover in trade paperback. I think I'm going to keep both. I can't imagine letting one go... ]

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
[ Thanks Tena! ]

Gone by Michael Grant
[ Thanks Amy! ]

Num8ers by Rachel Ward
[ Thanks Fiction Vixen! And thanks for the card and hug you sent too :) ]

 **From the Library**

I went a little overboard at the library on Friday. You see, it's been about a year since I've been there (for myself). The last book I borrowed was Twilight. I didn't realize my very own library has such a great selection of YA books! I know that I won't be able to read all of these in my allotted 3 weeks. Some I got on a try-out basis. So here's what I grabbed:

Wounded (The Wereling, #1) by Stephen Cole
[ I've never heard of or seen this book but it looked like 13 to Life so I grabbed it. ]

Pretty Dead by Francesca Lia Block
[ I've had this one on my wishlist and the library had it! I love this cover! ]

24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley
[ Another one I've had on my wishlist. ]

Candor by Pam Bachorz
[ I think most of the book bloggers have heard/seen/read this one. I'm going to give it a shot. No promises though. ]

Beautiful Americans by Lucy Silag
[ I have no idea what this book is about. I just love the cover! ]

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
[ Another one I think we've all heard/seen/read. I'm not sure if this is the sort of flavor I like but I'm going to give it a shot. Again, no promises. But man, do I LOVE that cover! ]

Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream by Steven Watts
[ Okay, so I'm a Hef fan. He basically create the nudey-magazine empire and made major cha-ching! I'll most likely skim through this. I'm not big on non-fiction and/or biographies but I'll give it a whirl. I didn't realize how thick this book is! (454 pages in small font.) Definitely skimming... ]

**Bought**

This cute monkey notebook. I love notebooks and journals. I would collect them if I had an endless supply of the green paper.

That's what I got. What did you get? Anything up there peek your interest?

Oh my goodness! Great list! I've just started using my public library again...We don't have the best YA section but Thank God for Linkcat (where we order books from other libraries in our area's system). Happy reading!

You have a book about Hef...I have Tera Patrick's book...I haven't read it yet but it called to me....Ok, so the title is Sinner Takes All. Looks pretty good!

    Happy Reading!
