Teaser Tuesday: The Tear Collector

I'm silent as Scott sits down next to me, and I wrap my arms around him. He leans into me, and after an awkward moment, I kiss him.

p. 119, The Tear Collector by Patrick Jones

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others.
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Raila - It's told by Cassandra, the vampire who feeds from tears. I'm still in the early part of the book (page 43) but I'm waiting for something, anything to happen. Right now I feel like I'm not getting much but we'll see what happens as I get further along :D
